1 Corinthians 1:10-17 “A House Divided”
Chloe’s people have come to visit Paul and tell him of the
situation in Corinth. People have been quarreling over who is better, whose
ideas are right or wrong. They quarrel over the right way to pray; which
spiritual gifts are more spiritual. Should they sing hymns or praise songs? Which
translation of the Bible was the right, King James or the NIV? While they are
fussing the work of God does not get done.
