Exodus 20:1-17 Basic Rules for Life

Exodus 20:1-17 Basic Rules for Life

INTRODUCTION: There was a sign on a church, “The Light Church, only 7 commandments, one Sabbath a month and a %5 tithe, all you ever wanted in a church and a lot less.” When the people reach Mt. Court hearings about who can write them and where. You can find a form of them in every civilized people and government on earth. They are so simple and yet very profound. Further on in our reading section we find them being written in stone and placed in box called the Ark of the Covenant. They will be carried with them, even into battle, placed in the temple, then lost and forgotten.
