that define us”





INTRODUCTION: Today is a difficult day. We have a lot invested here you and I. You started this church and seen it through
many struggles, through building programs.
I have given 25 years of my life to Presbyterian Church (USA) ministry,
2 as an intern and 23 as a pastor, 15 years of that ministry here in this
church. My family worked side by side
with you both on the building and in the offering plate. This is a hard day for all of us. And this passage of scripture Jesus faces
just such a day and I found it helpful.

IN THE GARDEN

Jesus is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of
death.
