In all six Jars we have a choice of
drawing out the wine or not. We draw out the wine by choice.
Phil 4:8&9 says “Finally, brothers,
whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or
praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard
from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”
Gal 5:22 – 26 says; “ But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness and
self-control. Against such
things there is no law. Those
who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since
we live by the Spirit, let us
keep in step with the Spirit.
Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
We must make a conscious choice to bring these things
forward in our life and leave things that are contrary out of our life. But it
is a purposeful choice it will not happen on it’s own. Paul discovered the war
in himself and that even when he was working at drawing out the wine the sinful
part of him often made it to the surface. In all six areas of life we must
choose and work to draw out the wine.
